Eliot Spitzer Hooker Identified as Ashley Alexandra Dupree
Ashley Alexandra Dupree was identified as “Kristen”, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s hooker at the Emperor’s Club VIP.
Dupre, whose real name is Ashley Youmans, was paid almost $4000 by Spitzer in a Feb. 23 rendezvous at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The prostitution scandal caused Spitzer to resign yesterday, effective Mar. 17.
Dupre is an aspiring musician and has posted songs on her MySpace page. Since her identity has gone public, her song and MySpace page views have skyrocketed.

i agree, i felt like he was set up. has anyone else been revealed as part of this “sting”?
What you, and far too many people fail to understand is, Many congressmen and politicians use and have used prostitutes in their careers. They have also done many many other things. Such that they tangle with the likes of Bush and his ilk. Such that if they ever grew a conscience, their character will be assassinated by these previous actions so that the Bush admin and his ilk can overshadow the facts that were previously released and since the Bush admin and his ilk have control of the media, you hear only about the prosti, not the things that matter.
They initially investigated unusual, frequent, large cash transfers. Then they looked more closely at Spitzer because of the possibility he was being blackmailed. You paranoid loon.By the way. An hour with a prostitute in a hotel bedroom isn’t usually referred to as a ‘love nest’.
Repub or Dem? Lib. or con?
Don’t change the subject. What Spitzer wrote was important. Really important. Greedy people have endangered the status of the US and the USD in the world. A lot of damage already has been done by the fallout of the unchecked financial excesses. The way the legal hit job on Spitzer was excecuted is worth investigating also, and already it seems clear that the powers of the federal state were illegaly used to target a political opponent. But that’s a separate story.By the way: original article in the Washington Post
I’m pretty sure most everyone will admit some level of schadenfreude towards Spitzer for his actions. But at the same time, I think the Bush admin does have a history of tar and feathering their enemies. Swiftboating, as it were. So, if I’m going to go on a limb and say that there are probably other people in power who have done worse, but are able to get out of it because they don’t rock the boat. Are you telling me that he’s the only politician to use the emperor’s club in Washington DC? Would a person who made his bones doing legal cases similar to this be haphazard? Something is suspicious.I think we should all be suspicious enough of government to realize nothing is ever as it seems.
The kookery is particularly strong in this thread.
