Huskies to host Valpo in CBI Wednesday
It took a while, but the newly-formed College Basketball Invitational released its Bracket at about 11 p.m. Sunday.
The Huskies are the No. 1 seed in the West Regional and will host Valparaiso of the Horizon League at 6 p.m. Wednesday. As the No. 1 seed in their region, the Huskies would remain at home should they win Wednesday. They would play the winner of Tuesday’s Houston vs. Nevada game.

And the lube was sponsored by some Y-combinator startup and then its mixture was named after a Republican politician.
OH!
But what about the Larry Bird/Dennis Johnson play in ‘86? There it was self-less and graceful.
The key to understanding it is to understand the concept of “pivot foot”. When a player receives a ball and then his foot lands. Then the next step is the second foot, which is the pivot foot. You can lift and step, lift and step as many times as you like your non-pivot foot. So, the next step is the first foot again - ie, the non-pivot foot. Then he jumps off that foot into the air and must release the ball before he comes down. When a player is running and receives a pass, or picks up his dribble, this means he effectively gets to take what appears to be three steps - first foot, second (pivot) foot, first foot again, leap. Most players at full speed could easily go from half court to rim with no more than that, and could go from the top of the key to the rim from a standing position with a single dribble.
that could just very well be my number 3 if it can help me defend the the deep pass against the Falcons in Madden 07!
Another great match ending….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceLlz7dOOvYMc Grady, simply the best.
I’m all for a Sports subreddit. It’d be great to see interesting sports videos and stories that don’t get onto ESPN here.
don’t forget the missed free throw at 22s Hands-on-the-head was really the right response to winning it after all that. Anybody got more reactions?
Or better, subcategories.. so i can read about American baseball but skip Australian football. Etc.See also:http://request.reddit.com/info/221a/commentshttp://request.reddit.com/info/2icf/comments

Imaginary trophy awarded for the attempt to keep reddit a sports-free zone.
Wow, do they put up some nasty (bad, not nasty good) free throws in div II
