NDSU Center Staff Design Livestock Handling System
The system consists of three sequential holding pens and a “Bud box” from which cattle enter a double alley, then move into a single alley. From there, they move on to the single-animal scale and then the squeeze chute. Workers can sort the cattle into multiple pens after they exit the squeeze chute.
The system has center-opening hydraulic gates on both ends of the single-animal scale. That feature reduces labor and stress on animals and workers during weighing because the center-opening gates allow only one animal through at a time. Traditional roll gates take awhile to move across an opening, which occasionally can allow more than one animal through at a time.

There is no denying the Arab culture is violent, the Arabs used to bury their daughters prior to Islam. I think culture is a major factor with this issue, the wests way of dealing with things is either ignoring them, or following them up through legal channels. Arab culture on the other hand is more animalistic if such a word can be used. They have been belittled for so long that all they remember is violence, each generation has been brought up in a spew of dictatorship and violence, its become engrained in there genetic system now to the point that its a natural way to deal with things.I say arab culture because the vast majority of violent incidents are caused by arab influence. Most suicide bombings are done by arabs. Terrorist attacks in the indo-china region are financed and supported by Ex-mujahideen and Arabs.Note however that most of this is contrary to Islamic principles. Suicide bombings are haram, terrorism by its very nature is strictly forbidden because war should never be to terrify people but only for defence. But when you grow up in a refugee camp and your poor and people offer you money to join a political-religious movement and you can’t read the quran yourself because your illiterate, and you have never had an education, its only natural that people will take advantage of you, strap something to you and tell you to walk north. If i was to give a solution it would be this.Leave the entire muslim world, just leave it, let them sort it out for themselves, self-realization and struggle is essential for any healthy body. If you leave and your still attacked by all means retaliate, but it would be interesting to see what would happen if we stopped supporting The Nahyans and Maktoums, The Fahdis and the Sauds.I think we would see a major revolution.
60 watt isn’t much either.
But how long would a non-energy-saving 11-watt lightbulb run for?
Muslims shouldn’t taught to protest in a civilised manner because it’s “nice”, but because anything else it ILLEGAL.What better way to teach muslims about peaceful protesting than to give them reasons to peacefully protest about?
Don’t get me wrong, you’re absolutely right, violence is wrong and is not an acceptable reaction. But when you make a movie that’s being marketed as “Anti-Islam”, what do expect is going to happen? This is why I’m conflicted. I’m fucking pissed that people are reacting with violence and death threats. We should be teaching Muslims the proper way to fight against these things (peaceful protesting, taking shit to court, whatnot) and at the same time people should be taught to stop throwing gas on the fire for the sole purpose of utilizing your “freedom of speech”.
Someone disagreed with you and gave you a downmod, that’s bullshit since that’s not the purpose of downmodding and this is a decent conversation. That same someone probably has tonnes of pointless self-posts or re-submits or have never read redditiquette.Thank you for your insight. Now I understand you can’t speak for all Muslims, and that the violent actions of the few Muslims who make the news do not represent Muslims as a whole, but can you think of any logical reason why, when so many people are getting shat on these days it seems like the Muslims react the most violent?Do you think it’s the MSM sensationalizing the small number of Muslim kids who get pissed? Misinterpreting the Koran? Or possibly something about Arab culture that’s more violent? That last one I feel could be considered politically incorrect, and for that I apologize.I’m just trying to understand where all this violence is coming from, because anti-religious people use it to attack people of the Muslim faith so I’m wondering what can be done to stop it all.It feels like the response of an angry Muslim fuels the response of an angry anti-Muslim, which fuels the response of a Muslim which fuels the response of an angry anti-Muslim and so on and so on.
“Calculations have now been performed” doesn’t really cut it for me. Does anyone have links to the actual stud(ies). I suspect that the amount of power consumed by individual Google searches is negligible, but there would probably be a huge amount of power consumed without any searches. Kind of line a line with a huge y intercept but a small slope, dividing the total power by the number of searches isn’t really an accurate description of the line.
Good neutral response. Both sides are being inappropriate. This one guy spent years of his life promoting the idea that we ‘turn the other cheek’. This dude had long hair and a donkey…. can’t quite remember his name….
I would bet they could cut a lot of cost if they forced programmers to take out the ‘bloat’, and explained to computer uses that everyone having an animated avatar on their yahoo messenger does technically use more electricity - I remember about 5 years ago, yahoo messenger went from using 3 MB of RAM to about 30MB - in one version change.imo the problem is that it is basically ‘free’ to add all of the gadgets and gizmos to programs, so of course every company adds them.
