I’ve been brought in to work on a database system for a housing charity in the UK. When they took me on they’d already signed the papers and had it all installed; it’s only since then that they’ve realised the database doesn’t do what they want it to do, and this means it’s become my job to adapt it. Which is silly.Basically, I have to do way more jobs than was originally planned, and they’ve spent £thousands on a system that’s not worth having. Hooray!
