Spitzer successor rushes to form team
ALBANY, N.Y., March 13 (UPI) — David Paterson, New York’s governor-in-waiting, is reported rushing to put together his team ahead of officially taking office Monday.
Paterson, the current lieutenant governor, is succeeding Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who resigned over his alleged involvement in a sex scandal.
Some members of Spitzer’s inner circle will be held over in an effort to smooth transition and meet the April 1 budget deadline, the New York Daily News said Thursday.
Others were expected to eventually leave, though a senior Paterson team member said there would be “no sudden changes and nobody has been asked to leave.”
However, there was one major change: Charles O’Byrne, Paterson’s chief of staff, replaces Richard Baum as secretary to the governor, the Daily News said.
Turkish troops kill 11 PKK rebels
ANKARA, Turkey, March 13 (UPI) — Turkish soldiers killed 11 members of the rebel Workers Party of Kurdistan in skirmishes near the Turkey-Iraq border, military officials said.
A village guard who was helping Turkish troops was injured in the fighting, Hurriyet reported Thursday.
Soldiers killed two separatists in a clash after an unmanned air surveillance vehicle detected members of the group also known as PKK in the area, reported the Turkish Dogan News Agency, which publishes Hurriyet. The other nine PKK followers were killed in fighting throughout the day.

Eliot Spitzer still has yet to resign despite what is described as a lot of activity on a website called the Emperor’s Club VIP. The women on that website are allegedly high priced call girls and there seems to be a lot of mounting evidence of Spitzer and a girl named Kristen from that website and a nice time they spent together on the night before Valentine’s Day in Washington, DC. he was basically caught in a sting, and the police claim to have recorded phone calls all the way down to the amount he spent, which is alleged to be forty-six hundred dollars for just a few hours.
Many feel just awful for his wife Silda Wall Spitzer as she had to do the “Press Conference of Shame”. (As opposed to the usual walk of shame that some celebrities do after a night in a hotel when they are caught by the paparazzi). Spitzer has put his wife in an awful position and his career seems like it is over.
The website and the photos of the call girls were eventually removed but there are still different versions online that were grabbed and saved before the purge.Now more digging has brought out another girl and she claims that she also had several flings with the New York Governor. This one is a 22-year old blonde (Kristen was reportedly a brunette) and she says that Spitzer was a good guy for a john and that he was a nice guy that tossed out some pretty handsome tips.

Just because a particular hottie favourite of yours wasn’t at the actual ceremony last night doesn’t mean that they weren’t celebrating at the parties afterwards. Every part of the Oscars itinerary was just flooding with hotties last night whether it was the luncheons, champagne parties or just places where celebrities can go and get free shit.

They should have another award at the Oscars that is presented to the hottest after-party attendee cause Kate would take it. In case you’re not aware, music legend Elton John always holds an annual Oscar party which benefits the fight against AIDS in the world so many people always attend his parties.
