Mere Baap Pehle Aap Music

Years back when Priyadarshan and Akshaye Khanna had come together, they created some Hungama and Hulchul. Now as they get together for Mere Baap Pehle Aap, they are also joined by Vidyasagar, the composer of Hulchul, who creates tunes for this yet another comedy flick this season. Sameer is the lyricist.
Though the songs of Hulchul didn’t really create much ‘hulchul’ to begin with, a couple of numbers (’Rafta Rafta’, ‘Ishq Mein’) did manage to stick on and can be heard even today. In case of Mere Baap Pehle Aap though, even that looks pretty doubtful.
Sangeet Haldipur is entrusted with the responsibility of singing the title song ‘Mere Baap Pehle Aap’. A relative newcomer who in the past has been heard in
Traffic Signal and Corporate, Sangeet gets a big solo for himself here as he croons for Akshaye Khanna in this promotional track. However, the tune here is just about average and doesn’t quite make you jump along as it is played. A number about a son trying to get this father remarried, it doesn’t have the required punch which is so very well required for a promotional number to make an impact.
It is an out and out Pritam influence in guest composer Tauseef Akhtar’s ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ which has a mix of Hindi and English lyrics with rap in the background. Well, within a matter of seconds one realizes why the song comes close to sounding like a Pritam track all the way. Well, that’s because the song is rendered by none other than Neeraj Shridhar who in the recent past has delivered numerous back to back hits with the composer.
Bob’s rap in the background with Alisha Chinoy as Neeraj’s partner further makes the song instantly attractive which makes ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ a track which could be next Akshaye Khanna hit after ‘Pehli Nazar Mein’ [Race]. However, though ‘Pehli Nazar’ was a love song, ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ falls under the dance track category. The ‘remix version’ which comes at the album’s end only consolidates on the catchy tune further!

(AP Online Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Chesney after ACM win: Fan votes shouldn’t decideLAS VEGAS (AP) _ Kenny Chesney won entertainer of the year for a fourth straight time Sunday, then promptly took issue with the way the Academy of Country music awarded the honor: through fan votes. For the first time in the show’s 43 years, the top prize _ traditionally decided by ACM members _ was determined through online voting. With the win, Chesney ties Garth Brooks and trails only Alabama, which won five in a row.
ABC’s `Desperate Housewives’ wraps fourth seasonNEW YORK (AP) _ In the closing moments of its season finale Sunday, "Desperate Housewives" flashed ahead five years. And while there were no hints to the White House’s occupant or the state of the economy in 2013, viewers got a few clues about Wisteria Lane’s future.
Review: Good to see Indy, but `Skull’ is a messYou see the hat before the hero _ that famous fedora, the one that stays put through every tricky situation, or at least at arm’s length for a hasty getaway. And of course he still has the whip, the paralyzing fear of snakes and the catchy John Williams theme song that will surely gnaw at your brain for hours afterward. Yes, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" dives headfirst into the iconography of the franchise, which will bring a smile to your face and warm you with nostalgia. It’s admittedly a pleasure to see Harrison Ford back in the role.
K-Fed attorney: Intense interest has its benefitsLOS ANGELES (AP) _ Kevin Federline’s attorney can’t complain about the intense interest in his client’s child-custody battle with Britney Spears. He doesn’t grumble about the television trucks and news reporters swarming the courthouse every time there’s a hearing, or the paparazzi who hound the pop princess every moment there isn’t. And he’s certainly not opposed to the TV reports, tabloids and Web sites that have documented every shred of the case that has consumed him for the past 18 months.

Opinion: Cruise Ship Safety Update

But the California state senator says the Rangers will also be there to “review relevant records, assist the passenger and crew in reporting and investigating potential criminal activities onboard while in the marine waters of the state (sic).”
Marine biology and law enforcement are two entirely different skills, each requiring an extraordinary amount of training. Furthermore, the state of California has no jurisdiction to arrest or investigate crimes that do not occur within its jurisdiction. The state bill admits as much.
Are These New Bills Necessary?
Article III of our Constitution gives jurisdiction over all cases of admiralty and maritime matters to the federal government. In the second Congressional hearing on cruise ship crime in 2007 the FBI was rightfully given official jurisdiction to investigate and bring charges against the perpetrator of a crime on a cruise ship. The California bill would create a jurisdictional conflict between the “Ocean Rangers” and the FBI, and with local authorities when ships are in foreign ports.
In 2007 I interviewed Gary Bald, VP of security for Royal Caribbean. He gave me details on the line’s new (at the time) security and crime reporting procedures. The program makes a lot of sense to me and my research tells me the approach at other cruise lines is similar.
The key is implementing fleetwide standardization of procedures in matters of security, including crime-reporting, rape kits and training in how to use them, methods for securing crime scenes on ships, and the coordination all these procedures by a single person located at the line’s land-based headquarters.
If a crime occurs on a cruise ship, the victim will be turned over to the designated officer in charge onboard first. That officer will then immediately contact the mainland office’s security director who, in turn, will lead the ship personnel through all the steps of the security plan. The goal is to standardize the procedures, and to have an impartial third party who can make sure no one on the ship (crew or passenger) interferes with the process.

IGN's Verdict

IGN’s Verdict - “One of the best games ever seen”
Posted by DigitalD at 23:33. Site: GTA4. Category: General
IGN has given Grand Theft Auto IV a 10/10 - the first such rating to be given in almost ten years. Quite simply, they call it “one of the best games” they have ever seen.
GTA taken to the next level - in a sense of technological progression and also sophistication.
Liberty City is a gem to behold. New York expressed in a true Grand Theft Auto style.
A level of integration between the soundtrack and the dynamics makes this a true “living, breathing city.”
The game deserves the highest score IGN can award, because it doesn’t fail to push video gaming to another level.
Storyline involves morality choices faced by players, giving way to alternative plot endings.
One of the best integrations of multiplayer in a game, that the reviewer has ever seen.
A 4-minute video review shows some beautiful gameplay footage as well as providing a summary of the full written review. Even if you decide to spare yourself the 7-page read, check out the video review. IGN can barely contain their excitement. We’re looking forward to the verdicts the other major outlets will be providing over the weekend.
Seeing as many still haven’t had a chance to play the game, I don’t want to summarize too much, and let everyone savour the gameplay when they have their chance with it. Suffice to say; much like Grand Theft Auto III represented a paradigm shift in videogaming, GTA IV continues to push the boundaries of what is possible to achieve with a video game.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 night vision trailer

Sniping, eh? We’ve all done it. Well, virtually none us have done it, but if we had then we would have wanted night vision goggles, because then we could have done it after work in the dark rather than having to try and fit it in at lunchtime. Night vision is back in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and you can see why it’s so influential in our exclusive Night Vision Eurogamer TV trailer - one of the key reasons being that you can combine it with a rifle scope.
Lead multiplayer game designer JP Cambiotti tells us that night vision goggles, returning from Vegas 1, “remain a really important gadget in many areas”. “You will have plenty of opportunities to use night vision,” Cambiotti explains, “specifically in the Nevada desert where night time means everything is pitch black and there are many long lines of sight to cover.
“You can keep your night vision on throughout most of the map, or use it when you get to certain spots that require you to see more details or enemies that you could not see without them. The ability to see well at night also allows you to play through the map in a more stealth manner.” And save money on lightbulbs.
But Cambiotti explains that it’s important to make use of other tools too; night vision allows you to see further into the dark than thermal imaging alone, but the latter can be used to accurately identify enemies in close proximity, so it’s worth keeping both handy to hunt down all the tangos. “Your night vision goggles are specially adapted to work with your snake cam, giving you a great tactical tool,” says Cambiotti. “If you’re using the snake cam and having trouble seeing, turning on your night vision goggles will allow you to observe properly, then plan and act according to the best strategy.”

Film Friday: Never Artistically Backslide

Is anyone else disappointed that the dystopian future promised in 1980s films isn’t here? If there’s one thing we’ve learned here at Torontoist, is that en masse, humans are terrible at predicting our future. It’s always so much more mundane than we expect it to be. The perfect example being The Running Man.
Instead of audiences being unsatisfied unless they’re watching the most ridiculously violent reality TV shows possible, here people are absolutely satisfied watching reality TV shows that are more about nothing than Seinfeld ever was. People sit about doing nothing in particular in Big Brother; Gene Simmons and his family act out transparently scripted emptiness on Gene Simmon’s Family Jewels; and in The Hills, we watch a selection of privileged and attractive young people lead ever-so-slightly more-exciting-than-average lives while surrounded by about nine camera crews at all times.
Eye’s Jason Anderson has to feel the same ennui as we do—in his review of a film we’d otherwise pay absolutely no attention to (Never Back Down), he says, “Finally, a movie that backs up my contention that The Hills would be immeasurably improved if Lauren Conrad got into ultimate fighting.”
It would be better, wouldn’t it? If films are too violent, TV just isn’t really violent enough (there isn’t enough swearing, either).
